Robert McNutt

Robert has a Bachelors of Science in
Kinesiology and Physical Education from
Pepperdine University and a Masters of Arts
in Physical Education from Long Beach
State. He received a California Teaching
Credential from Cal State Dominguez and
has taught 15 years in both High School and
College. He is currently the Owner and
Director of Northern California Volleyball
Club LLC. In 1983 Robert was the Junior
Olympic MVP in the 19 & Under division with
Team Pepridge. Robert also earned All-
American honors as a Middle Blocker and
was captain for the 1985 & 1986 National
Championship teams with Pepperdine
University and still holds the single season
blocking record since 1984 and is 7th  in
total career blocks.  Robert has been
inducted into the Pepperdine Athletic Hall of
Fame as a member  of the 1985 Div 1
National Championship team. He also was
the only volleyball player inducted into the
San Pedro City Athletic Hall of fame along
with former NBA star Dennis Johnson, Major
league baseball players Allen Ashby & Brian
Harper and former Denver Bronco Hall of
Fame member Haven Moses.

Rocklin Unified School District as a

Head coach and Women's Junior Varsity
Head Coach.  After playing at Ponderosa
High School from 1987-1990 he moved to
Idaho where he started his coaching career
in 1991 with 5B Volleyball Club under the
direction of Reamy Goodwin.  While at Boise
State University he co-founded, presided
over and played for the Boise State
University Volleyball Club.  Since College
David has coached boys and girls volleyball
for several High Schools and clubs, taught
private lessons and coached in many
camps and clinics.

Nick Allen returns to Sacramento after
spending  three years playing for
Washington State Mens Volleyball Club.  
Nick started his career at Placer High
School under the coaching of Randy Ittner
(UCSB). Nick is determined to become a
great coach and is active in educating

Boys 16 Blue team this season and he is

Cory is currently attending  Pepperdine

Terry Stafford
Terry has over 30 years experience has a
head coach in volleyball, basketball, track
and golf. During his 20 years in volleyball he
has had 12 league championships, 3
section titles and 7 Nor Cal bids. He has
coached many D 1 scholarship players who
have continued on to Long Beach State,
Santa  Barbara, Gonzaga, UN Reno, UNLV,
Oral Roberts, Cal and even one to the
Olympics. Terry has also officiated at the
Collegiate level for 12 years in the Pac 10
and Wac Conferences.  Terry brings his
knowledge of the game and running a
strong program from 19 years as a Club
Director.  He has had the privilege to work
with many great coaches like John Dunning,
Charlie Brand, Mike Montgomery and John
Furman.  Terry has coached all four of his
children and believes this is a great sport for
ladies to be involved in.

Terry will be the Head Coach of  the
2007-2008 NCVC Girls 16-1. Head Coach at
Granite Bay High School for the Girls
Program which had one D 1 player who is
going to Cal Berkeley in the fall. Terry
attended the GoldMedalSquared coaching
clinic in May of 2007.
Joshua Velasquez

Joshua Velasquez joins NCVC for the
2007-2008 Boys season as the 15-1 coach.
He has attended UC Davis  and Sacramento
State as a mathematics major.  As a player
Joshua earned a Gold Medal at the 1998
Junior Olympics as a starting setter for High
Voltage VBC.  Joshua has worked hard as a
coach with Delta Valley, Rio Americano,
Laguna Creek and, most recently,  with the
Womens program at Sacramento City
College.
